Designed to meet the evolving requirements of automotive safety testing, the N-VIT combines a lightweight, rugged design with outstanding imaging capabilities. The camera records Full HD (1920 × 1080) video at up to 1000 frames per second, enabling engineers to capture fast-moving events with exceptional detail.
A key advantage of the N-VIT is its sensor, which is fully covered by 1-inch C-Mount lenses. This provides users with access to a wide range of compact, high-quality optics while helping to minimize the size and weight of the complete camera system—an important benefit for onboard installations where space is limited.
To simplify integration into existing crash test facilities, the N-VIT is also available with support for the European single-LEMO interface standard. This allows test laboratories to replace existing onboard cameras with minimal installation effort, reducing downtime and ensuring a smooth transition to the latest AOS technology.
Like all AOS VIT cameras, the N-VIT incorporates the company's proven RescueFlash technology, which automatically saves recorded images to non-volatile memory immediately after the trigger event, protecting valuable test data even under extreme conditions. An integrated G-sensor can serve as either the primary trigger or as a reliable backup trigger, providing additional operational security during testing.
